A place called 'Paradise'

As a new day dawns it brings with it a volley of hopes and aspirations. The past day forgotten, like a lingering fragrance in your memory.

By sheer stroke of luck , I was able to steal away few moments from my own life for a holiday. Goa, the land of sun, sand, waves and my dreams. I’ve always been a beach person, and it brought a sense of serenity to watch the waves perform their mystic dance over the rocks, slowly making them their own, breaking them to sand. I am at peace and one with nature.

At such times it makes you wander what it was like when such a place was untouched by humanity. At least the shacks with loud music blaring out, the continuous supply of beer bottles on the beach and the beach umbrellas would disappear. Far away I can still hear the trance music coming from Club Cabana with the laser lights alight in the sky, and stealing away the show from the twinkling stars, I must say grudgingly. But the best place to ponder over your aim in life is definitely Fort Aguada, sitting on the high wall, watching the light house and feeling the salt against your face. Far away the cruises sail softly; their decks alight, look like stars in the huge ocean. As the last day draws near, the emptiness is back in my heart, I am gonna miss this place like hell. It as been an experience par excellence.

As I am sitting in the bus on my way back, the sand in my jean pockets is all I have to remind me of the dream I lived for 3 days………..

Written most excellently I must say.. An essence well captured an portrayed with words that create an atmosphere in itself.. On the practical side, a beach on the far away side of Kerala would probably match your requirements.. :)

Let me put accross this nice ghazal.

Mai pal do pal ka shayar hun,
Pal do pal meri kahani hai,
Pal do pal meri hasti hai,
Pal do pal meri Jawaani hai.

It equally summarises ur expereince. Nice one again.
